Questo dipinto di grandi dimensioni rappresenta una veduta alpina di rara bellezza e armonia, firmata da Gino Federici (firma leggibile in basso a destra). L’opera si distingue per la meticolosa resa naturalistica e per l’intensità narrativa con cui l’artista raffigura la vita contadina in un paesaggio montano.
Soggetto:
Al centro della composizione si apre una vallata soleggiata circondata da montagne innevate e boschi, resa con toni caldi e una luce radente che valorizza la profondità prospettica. In primo piano, a sinistra, due giovani pastorelle sono rappresentate in abiti semplici: una seduta pensierosa su una roccia, l’altra in piedi con un cesto sulle spalle. Intorno a loro pascolano pecore e capre, dettagliate con realismo e delicatezza.

Subject:
In the center of the composition is a sunny valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains and forests, rendered in warm tones and a grazing light that enhances the perspective depth. In the left foreground, two young shepherdesses are depicted in simple clothing: one sitting pensively on a rock, the other standing with a basket on her shoulders. Around them graze sheep and goats, detailed with realism and delicacy.
