Cacciapuoti, "Elefanti", scultura in terracotta, firmata, Anni '40

Soggetto: Due elefanti africani: la madre in posizione protettiva e fiera, con la proboscide sollevata, e il piccolo che le si avvicina affettuosamente, quasi cercando rifugio o gioco.

Materiale: Terracotta patinata con effetto naturalistico, smalti opachi e terre leggere. L’effetto è volutamente opaco, per imitare la pelle rugosa degli animali.

Firma: Presente e ben visibile, conferma l’autenticità dell’opera e la riconducibilità alla Manifattura Cacciapuoti, attiva nel realismo decorativo e figurativo del Novecento italiano.

Misure: H 30 x L 55 cm.

Subject: Two African elephants: the mother in a protective and proud position, with her trunk raised, and the baby approaching her affectionately, almost as if seeking refuge or play.

Material: Patinated terracotta with a naturalistic effect, matt glazes and light earths. The effect is deliberately matt, to imitate the wrinkled skin of animals.

Signature: Present and clearly visible, confirming the authenticity of the work and its traceability to the Manifattura Cacciapuoti, active in 20th-century Italian decorative and figurative realism.
