Marco illuminated by the sun are the protagonists in the center of the view, with the Campo dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo. The Canale dei Mendicanti is crossed by the Ponte Cavallo. On the right, a splendid noble palace is reflected in the waters of the canal.   The canvas is enlivened by the characteristic people and typical boats of Venice.   The painting has been relined and inserted in a beautiful 19th-century gilded frame.
