Elegant lacquered wood box with a marbled background in shades of black, brown, and red to imitate tortoiseshell; the lid is shaped, and a golden medallion stands out in the center. At the ends, female figures hold floral arrangements in one hand. A fine gilded decoration of scrolls and arabesques surrounds the entire band, which is also vibrantly shaped.
