Important clock in gilded and finely chiseled bronze representing Ganymede on a chariot pulled by two eagles.
White and blue enamel dial signed "Caillouet à Paris".
The lower part with bas-relief decoration of Ganymede acting as Zeus' cupbearer. The myth tells that Zeus kidnapped the young Ganymede, struck by his beauty, through the aid of two eagles.
The base rests on raptor claw feet.
