Description:
Fir wood chest painted with a dark green background, typical of the Alpine tradition. The front is divided into three panels with molded frames painted in red: two depicting stylized floral bouquets and a central one with an inscription in ancient Gothic German, bearing the name of the client and the date of construction, December 26, 1809. The structure is solid, with onion feet. The piece of furniture retains the authentic appearance of richly decorated peasant furniture, typically used as a wedding dowry.
