Description: Antique Neapolitan Louis XV chest of drawers in prized exotic woods with marble top.
The entire surface in rare woods plays on the arrangement of the grain and the contrast of light and shadow of the different inlays.
The decoration is typical of the Neapolitan 18th century with the classic rhombus that is repeated on the two drawers and on the two sides.
The two corners are highlighted by elegant threads and borders in wood arranged 'on end'.
The two-drawer front is accented by a beautiful movement that is also repeated on the sides, with the wedge-shaped shoulders typical of the Neapolitan cabinetmakers of the period.
The two cabriole legs are covered with bronze socks and are connected by a mixtilinear apron with an inlay in the center.
