Description: English Victorian table in solid mahogany, extendable by pulling out to more than double its closed size.
Four beautiful tulip-shaped legs have a foliate carving alternating with flowers in the upper part, while in the lower part they end with four burnished bronze wheels contemporary to the table.
The top has rounded edges and features a reverse throat edge, an element of great elegance and refinement.
Historical notes: The term Victorian period refers to the reign of the great Queen Victoria, who governed England from 1837 to 1901: a period of great changes and better living conditions, these seventy years were also characterized by greater rigor in every aspect of life, including furniture.
Thus the Victorian style was born, original and inimitable, which became the English style par excellence, distinctive of the new middle class.
