Antique French Napoleon III side table/planter in polychrome woods with gilded bronze applications, 19th century.

Description: Napoleon III era side table/planter richly decorated with geometrically patterned woods on the top and on the four front sides. The top has a removable part framed by a gilded fretwork bronze, which allows the flowers to be contained inside. The quality of this wonderful piece of furniture is evident from the value of the four bronzes placed on the upper part of the feet that end at the shoe. Origin: France (1860/80) Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional "Handmade Shellac and alcohol" method.
