The painting can be attributed to the painting of the Flemish landscape artist Pieter Mulier, known as Cavalier Tempesta after his stay in Italy, where he worked and trained artistically first in Rome, then in Genoa, attracted by the sea and the Ligurian landscape, and finally in Milan until his death.
