Rectangular top supported on the sides by two supports ending in double brackets at the top and bottom, joined by a single crosspiece whose ends protrude from the supports and are secured by the two original wedges that fit into a hole in the crosspiece itself. Note the elegance of the bracket molding and the large drawer with nailed joints on the front that runs the entire length of the table and, when pushed to one side, allows the desk to be used as a writing table. A typical expression of the taste and harmony that make Tuscan furniture of this era unsurpassed models of measured architecture and balance.
