Rare bookcase, also as a display cabinet, fully demountable, from the early Viennese Biedermeier design era, finely veneered in flowering ash. With a warm original first patina and warm amber-golden color. The circular glass section is set into the front, shared with the two doors. Ebonized radiating motifs emanate from the center, typical of the most refined Viennese Biedermeier. The piece of furniture, from 1815-20, boasts an incredibly modern line, typical of the Viennese designers of the early Biedermeier period close to Joseph Danhauser. The furniture is in a state of integrity, including internal and external hardware, with original glass from the period, delicately corrugated. In first patina, with a shellac finish applied with museum standard technique. Exceptional when combined with modern high-end furniture for an ensemble of refined elegance. The interior, in original condition, has been masterfully polished with shellac in compliance with the type of conservative restoration according to the rules of ancient art; it is possible to cover it with luxurious paper on request. The furniture is fully demountable with ingenious intact mechanisms to facilitate its possible movement, as typical of the culture of "practical" living of the Viennese Biedermeier period.
