Important Cup Ace table from the second half of the 16th century, entirely made of solid walnut wood. This type of table, known as "Cup Ace," is considered exceptionally important for its rarity and beauty, and as a prime example of the taste prevalent in central Italy during the 15th and 16th centuries.
The piece is very well preserved with all its original parts, but it is likely that the two drawers under the tabletop were added in the 19th century, as they were not originally planned.
The table is in its original patina, so it may be necessary to carry out a nice waxing job, as well as a routine check to verify the total stability of the components.
The table measures: 180 cm in length x 82 cm in width and 83 cm in height.
You can view the table in person at our antiques gallery located in Foligno (PG), Piazza Ettore Giacomini, 42.
A regular certificate of authenticity is attached to the sale.
