Description: Antique oil on canvas painting depicting The Adoration of the Magi, a favorite subject in ancient painting, which is based on traditional iconography, where the figures of the Holy Family, placed on the left of the composition, are portrayed in front of the three Kings, sumptuously dressed. The oldest one, kneeling in adoration of the Child while kissing his foot, has already placed his gift at the feet of the Virgin, while the second and third await their moment to honor the sacred event, with their precious gifts still in their hands. The composition is very versatile and intelligently calibrated in colors, especially in those continuous contrasts between the very light and the slightly darker parts.
