Description: Elegant Roman mirror from the first half of the 18th century, entirely sculpted, carved and gilded with gold leaf.
The mirror presents itself as a triumph of carved wood with a movement that develops from bottom to top where it is possible to appreciate all its finesse.
The cyma is a succession of rocaille volutes and plant racemes, while on the sides stand out two heads of cherubs.
The lower part has raceme motifs that contribute to the elegance and refinement of this splendid object.
The mirror is made of mercury salt glass and is contemporary to the wooden frame.
