This is a drop-front desk with a double-curved shaped front and curved shoulders that rise upwards, characterized by a majestic but extremely refined structure, a typical example of 18th-century cabinetmaking from the city of Verona. It was intended for the prestigious home of a lover of such fine furnishings, and is distinguished by the peculiarity of the movement, very elegant, of the side shoulders.
The furniture shows a structure entirely veneered in veined walnut, walnut and olive burl over the entire surface. The interior of the drop-leaf, also veneered with the same materials as the exterior, features four drawers, a small central door and a writing compartment with secret compartments.
Excellent general condition.
Like every object, the furniture will be accompanied by a certificate of guarantee and authenticity.
