Vienna circa 1750, Rococo period. Wonderful double curved commode with rich and masterfully inlaid high cabinetmaking. It is veneered in spidery blond walnut feather, with masterful inlays in walnut root, poplar root, thuja root, plum and maple. Restored and consolidated according to the rules of ancient art with a conservative criterion and shellac finish applied with a pad on the first coat using museum standard technique.
