Vienna, circa 1820. Circle of Joseph Danhauser. Rare etagere veneered in blond walnut feather with refined threads on all external sides of the columns. Particular and ebonized spheres, typical details of the Danhauser furniture factory. The etagere is for the center of the room, with practical shelves delimited by small frames. In excellent condition, consolidated and restored with a conservative approach following the rules of art, with shellac finishing using a pad applied on the first original patina with museum standard technique. Dimensions: height cm. 157, width 65, depth 43. In the box there is the miniature of the original drawing by Joseph Dahnauser for a very similar etagere "Nottenstelle n.8", in the graphic collection owned by the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna (published for cultural reasons).
