The invention was dedicated to his companion Anna, who became his wife in 1840. Made in various shades from fluorescent green (Annagruen) to yellow (Annagelb). This type of fluorescent glassware became very popular in 19th century Europe. The first artifacts of this type, with refined craftsmanship, are very rare and sought after.
