Antique Tabriz floral rug featuring naturalistic motifs surrounding a vibrant "cardinal red" central field with a characteristic concentric rhombus-shaped rosette. Hand-knotted entirely with pure wool, cotton warp and weft, and with well-preserved borders and fringes. The carpet is approximately 70 years old.
