PAIR OF NEOCLASSICAL PAINTED CONSOLES LATE 18TH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
Refined pair of drop-leaf, wall-mounted consoles, made of carved wood and painted with lean tempera. The consoles feature a black faux marble painted wooden top with white veining, and two legs each carved with laurel leaf tendrils, joining at the center in a shell. Other carved details, present on both the front and sides, are of classical taste and adorned with geometric motifs and floral interlaces, contributing to their refinement. This is a pair of consoles of great style and elegance, capable of furnishing any environment with a touch of class and antiquity. Tuscan manufacture, from the Directory period, around the late 18th century. Measurements: H x W x D 80 x 89 x 44cm  Translated
