PAIR OF ARCHITECTURAL WALL FRIEZES, MID 18TH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
Refined pair of architectural wall friezes, made of carved wood and gilded with gold leaf. The friezes are shaped like acanthus leaves, recalling the upper part of a Corinthian capital. These splendid objects, originally conceived as architectural wall friezes, can be used both as wall sconces, by inserting a light bulb inside, and as bases for wall shelves, by adding an upper plane. This is a pair of elements of great taste and refinement, capable of bestowing a touch of class and antiquity to any environment. Marche manufacturing, from the Louis XV period, around the mid-18th century. Measurements: H x W x D 34 x 29 x 18cm  Translated
