Description:
Antique oil painting on canvas by the painter Pietro Tavilla around the late 19th century, of whom little information and few paintings are found. Of Italian origin, it depicts a young woman leaning against a boat on a beach with the sea in the background. The painting, on its original canvas, measures 34 cm (h. 45 cm) while the precious 19th-century gilded mecca frame measures 47 cm (h. 74 cm) and is 7 cm wide. Signed lower right (photo no. 3).
