Large paper copy. Full vellum, black title on spine. The second edition of Pliny by the Jesuit scholar Jean Hardouin (1646-1729), who used evidence from Roman coins to verify parts of the text. This is considered the last commentary on the entire text of Pliny, and Hardouin acknowledges all previous academic editions and commentaries on the text.
