The watch features a rare Duplex escapement with center seconds, the center hand beats half-seconds and the subsidiary seconds at six beat quarter-seconds.
This type of movement is called Diablotine or Diavoletto, a rare and fascinating watchmaking complication that allows for instant and precise display of fractions of a second, with a hand that "jumps" from one graduation to the next like lightning.
Fabulous, fully engraved, gilded brass movement.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals, original hands.

Comes with a key for winding and setting the hands.
