Blown glass carafe
Murano, first half of the 20th century
Main body in clear glass with yellow spots
with a silver leaf-decorated surface.
The twisted handle is hot-applied with a twisted pattern and
blue decorations with small, raised droplets.
Elegant vertical veins in cobalt blue and white extend from the top rim,
ending with a three-dimensional "droplet" effect on the body of the jug.
The silver surface shows
the typical oxidation caused by age.
The bottom of the jug clearly shows the pontello mark,
or separation from the stem, a distinctive sign of handcrafted craftsmanship.
Excellent condition, no cracks or chips.
