Mid-20th-century Italian side table. Tuscan-style piece of furniture made of finely carved, lacquered, gilded, and hand-painted wood with exquisite floral decorations. The side table features a fold-out compartment at the top and a shelf at the bottom (see photo).
Standing on four elegant, curved legs, also lacquered and gilded, these tables offer good stability and solidity, but are not designed to support excessive weight. The upper compartment is upholstered in damask fabric and is in good condition. Ideal as an entryway table (empty pockets) or, if desired, as a flowerpot. Well-proportioned side table, finished as a centerpiece, making it a pleasing addition to any home. In good condition.
