Description:
Fireplace Triptych with clock “Cupid with rose” and pair of candelabra. Empire, Paris, ca. 1810/15. The dial is signed Ravrio Bronzier à Paris (Antoine-André Ravrio, 1759-1814) and Mesnil Hr. (1805-1855). "Rouge Griotte" marble and bronze, chiseled and gilded, with dark patina. Cupid is seated on an upward-tapering case, with an arrow in one hand and a rose in the other. His right foot rests on a quiver. On a rectangular marble base, decorated with bronze applications in the form of flower garlands and a reclining Venus in a diamond-shaped reserve. Profiled bronze base, decorated with a frieze of stylized leaves and flattened feet. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Parisian movement with half-hour striking on a bell. Candelabrum in the shape of cherubs blowing into two bright branches in the shape of double horns. On a round marble base, decorated with palmettes, and on a rectangular bronze base with a leaf frieze. Dimensions of clock: HxWxD: 46x40.5x16.5 cm. Candelabra: HxWxD: 45x9x9 cm.  Translated
