A prestigious entrance hall set comprising five coordinated elements in gilded wrought iron. The set includes a striking console with an integrated mirror, a large wall-mounted coat rack with a red velvet backing, a chair, a stool, and a hat rack.
The ensemble is distinguished by its elegant volutes and phytomorphic motifs, typical of high-quality craftsmanship from the mid-20th century. The wrought iron structure features a refined gilding that lends brightness and importance to each piece, while the seats and the back of the coat rack are upholstered in vibrant red velvet, creating a visually impactful chromatic contrast.
The design and execution techniques allow for the attribution of this set to the Turin workshop of Pier Luigi Colli, renowned for his ability to blend the tradition of wrought iron with the sinuous, modern lines of Italian Mid-Century taste.
Manufactured in the Turin area, traceable to the excellent production of the 1950s-1960s.
The set is in good general condition, with normal signs of age on the gilding and mirrored surfaces that attest to its authenticity and era.
