Refined pair of watercolor engravings on paper, in carved and painted wooden frames and protected by glass. Both engravings depict two scenes from the Old Testament: the creation of Eve and the expulsion from Paradise. The first scene shows a clearing, dominated by the sun, with animals and trees, while in the center Adam is depicted lying down, from whom God has taken a rib to create Eve. The second engraving, instead, depicts the Garden of Eden, with Adam and Eve forced to flee in the center. The serpent is also visible at their feet, and an angel reinforces their expulsion. Both engravings feature the title and a small description of the subject at the bottom, in both Latin and Spanish. This is a pair of engravings of great taste and refinement, in which the mastery in reproducing details and the watercolor technique can be appreciated, capable of lending a touch of antiquity and class to any environment. Spanish manufacture from the late 17th century.
