Rare sideboard by Vittorio Dassi, 1950s  Translated
Description:
Vittorio Dassi sideboard Rare piece of furniture designed by Vittorio Dassi. Dassi founded his company in the 1950s and produced high-end furniture, combining craftsmanship with fine materials. He is one of the most appreciated Italian furniture designers of the 1950s; his company, Dassi Mobili Moderni, was often used by Gio Ponti for cabinetry. Wooden veneered furniture with rhomboidal decoration. Three doors with oval carved frames, inside which is a central bar cabinet with two drawers and shelves on the sides, all in light ash wood, contrasting with the exterior. The base features a curved leg with a unique design and brass details. The top part has its original period pink glass. Original key present.
