Refined small Piedmontese Louis XVI Console from the late 18th century, an expression of high neoclassical cabinetmaking. Made of precious bois de rose, it features an extraordinary wealth of inlays in various wood essences, skillfully arranged in geometric patterns and threads that enhance the surfaces with great formal balance.
The band is enlivened by finely inlaid drawers, embellished with elegant handles and gilt bronze applications, while the tapered and fluted legs give momentum and lightness to the whole, according to the aesthetic canons of the time. A refined ornamental pendant on the side further enriches the composition, underlining its aristocratic character.
The top is in gray Sant'Anna marble, original, with a shaped profile, perfectly harmonized to the wooden structure and of great chromatic and material quality.
Furniture of small size but of great elegance, ideal for representative environments, entrances or prestigious living rooms. An authentic collector's item, a witness to the taste and refinement of the Piedmontese cabinetmaking tradition of the late 18th century.
