Elegant and unique writing desk entirely veneered in cherry wood, with rosewood threads. The table has truncated pyramid legs, typical of the period, a rectangular shape and is enriched at the corners with finely chiseled gilded bronze decorations, which recall quivers enriched with garlands of flowers. Further decoration is given by the threads, visible at the beginnings of the legs and on the top with geometric squares, which give a sober elegance to the design. The furniture finally has a small drawer on the front, which bears the label of the cabinetmaker, namely Jacopo Ciacchi, a famous Florentine furniture maker active between the beginning and the second half of the 19th century, whose workshop was located in Borgo San Jacopo, near Ponte Vecchio. Ciacchi's activity was also rich and prosperous, he was responsible for the construction of the furniture for the Sala delle Colonne in Palazzo Pitti. This splendid table is a unique piece of furniture of value and value, capable of furnishing any environment with taste and refinement.
