Refined large dining table in finely carved solid mahogany. The table has an oval shape, with a turned base and four scroll legs with phytomorphic and geometric carved decorations, joined to ebonized parts. The table is extendable and has three extensions also in mahogany. Its stability is also given by the legs that also open, going to the two ends of the furniture, while in the center it is possible to lower two additional turned legs. Inside the table is visible the writing "F. Parri F.", which allows to ascribe the furniture to the workshop of the famous Leghorn cabinetmaker Francesco Parri (active between 1849-1881) and Sons. Parri was famous in the realization of various furnishings and furniture, inspired by the English style, mainly in the Pisa and Leghorn areas. It is a table of great taste and refinement, of great workmanship and quality, able to give a touch of class and elegance to any environment. Leghorn manufacture (Tuscany, Italy) of the second half of the 19th century.
