Extremely rare work by the master Claudio Girard, active at the Savoy court in the first half of the 18th century.
Only 6 are known, all present in the Civic Museum of Turin.
It is a complex technique of inlaid silk and silver threads, very rare and extremely difficult to execute.
The work is accompanied by a technical sheet by Professor Alberto Cottino, an illustrious art historian, professor at the Albertina Academy, and close collaborator of Federico Zeri.
