SILVER CRUCIFIX EARLY 19TH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
Refined crucifix in hammered silver, mounted on a support covered in pink velvet. The crucifix features a radiating pattern around the cross in the upper part, the inscription INRI, and in the lower part the representation of a skull. Christ is depicted plaintively, with an applied external halo. It is an object of great taste and particularity, capable of furnishing any environment with refinement and a touch of antiquity. Neapolitan (southern Italy) manufacture of the early 19th century. Measurements: H x W panel 44 x 30cm; H x W crucifix 37 x 21cm  Translated
