LARGE COPPER POT FIRST HALF OF THE 18TH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
Unique and particular large pot in beaten and embossed copper. The pot has an ovoid shape, tapered downwards, and characterized by a high foot decorated with geometric motifs, and two ring handles. The lid has a refined decoration that sees a coat of arms characterized by a tree surmounted by a flame and flanked by stars; above is the signature "B. I. VG", perhaps attributable to the owner or the regiment, while in the lower part there is the date: "1742". The lid can be opened via a lock, and inside, the pot is lined to retain heat and liquids. It is a rare object that can be used as a decorative element or as a wood holder, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity to any environment. Swiss manufacture of the first half of the 18th century (circa 1742). Measurements: H x DM 50 x 64cm  Translated
