Baroque drop-front desk from the mid-18th century. Constructed from fir and poplar wood and covered in walnut with large burr walnut reserves. Featuring a serpentine front and supported by scroll feet, it has two drawers and a drop-front revealing a cabinet with four small drawers and an open compartment concealing a secret. Replacements to the back, original locks.
