Gilded Empire Lamp Bases 1700 Set of Four palm-holder vases with a square base and body turned and carved in Swiss pine wood, water gilded in fine leaf gold on a red bole preparation. They are gilded only on the front, while the back is finished in Siena yellow tempera. They are in good condition despite small flaws compatible with the dating of the late 1700s. Of Italian origin.
