Kerosene lamp, with a gilded bronze mount with a circular base and rocaille feet. The stem, in the guise of a twisted branch with flowers and leaves, supports the brown glass kerosene container. The body is enriched with pinwheel motifs. On the base is a porcelain figure depicting an "oriental character." Kosmos burner with openwork embroidered ferrule, flame arrester in blown glass.
Manufacture: lamp by Joseph Schlossmacher Paris, the Kosmos burner by Wild & Wessel of Berlin.
