This splendid lidded ewer is an unusual shape, made of thick silver, featuring smooth surfaces highlighted by bold decorative elements with floral and geometric motifs, and cartouches on both sides of the ewer's body. A hinged lid with a domed surface and decorations echoing the theme of the ewer's body. The handle features cast, chased and applied ornaments. Short spout, circular base. Vermeil silver interior.
