17th century marble slab with inscription

White marble slab, rectangular in shape, with a decorated profile of fruit and leaf trails, partly polychrome and centered on the sides by ribbon motifs. The inscription bears the date "MDCLXXVIII", year 1678. Provenance: Carpi, Foresti heirs
