Late Renaissance marble relief, late 16th century. The "Rape of the Sabine Women". Signs of age, but in good overall condition. Approximate dimensions: 15 x 13 x 2.5 cm. Provenance: private Belgian collection. The relief was purchased from Varosi, Brussels, in July 2015 as "Late Renaissance marble relief, late 16th century", as can be seen from the owner's inventory notes.
