LATE 18TH CENTURY NEOCLASSICAL WALNUT SOFA

Elegant sofa in hand-carved solid walnut. Its shape is distinguished by the sinuous lines of the back and armrests, while the legs, characterized by a slightly curved truncated pyramidal shape, recall the style of the Directoire period. To further embellish the sofa, two gilded bronze flowers are placed on the armrests. The seat is padded and has three removable cushions covered in olive green-yellow fabric. The sofa is in excellent condition, its great class and elegance is ideal for tastefully furnishing any environment. Tuscan manufacture of the neoclassical period, around the end of the 18th century.
