Description: Splendid travel trunk dating back to the late 19th century Italian, made of sturdy solid wood and reinforced with wrought iron elements. The simple but solid lines are embellished with original metal elements: hinges, corner pieces, and central closure with a lock (key not included), all in hand-forged iron. The two side handles, also in iron, allowed for easy lifting and transport. The warm and uniform patina of the wood is the result of careful conservative restoration carried out in recent decades, which has respected the authenticity of the piece without altering its history. The wooden surface shows still clearly visible grain, small imperfections, and traces of time that confirm its originality and use. The interior, also restored, is clean and ready for decorative or functional use. Ideal as a piece of furniture, a coffee table for rooms with a rustic, industrial, retro style, or for photographic and film sets. Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity.
