This period pendulum clock (from the second half of the 1700s) is truly rare due to the type of case so inlaid and carved on the corners. The structure is in walnut with burr panels and various inlays... the inlaid flowers on the lower panel, I would say, give a touch of class and elegance to the piece of furniture, including the carvings on the corners... truly rare for being an original period piece from the 1700s.
The mechanism has a metal structure; the dial part is in enamelled copper with a brass frame (called lamierino) with embossed workmanship, which represents the allegory of wine grapes.
Mechanism completely disassembled and overhauled with re-punching of the bushings and replacement of the winding cords. Winding with key (original included), at 8 for the time and at 4 for the chimes. "Din" chime with original bell, with hour repetition. And cord for recalling the chime.
