Antique hand-painted icon of Saint Barbara from 1880, with a repoussé silver riza of 875 fineness.

Description: Interesting Russian icon (20x16 cm) made in 1880, painted on a 2 cm thick panel with a repoussé and chased 875 silver riza: it depicts Saint Barbara who, with one hand, holds a chalice and with the other, a palm with a cross. It is in good condition: near the left edge, halfway up the icon, we find the hallmark with the silver fineness and the one that dates it to 1880 (photo n°9).
