Antique travel writing desk, 19th century

Superb 19th-century burr walnut travel writing desk. The top opens with an original key, accompanied by its working lock. Inside, we find several letter compartments. A tab at the top allows the opening of a storage space. The interiors are made of mahogany wood, and the writing surface has its original blue velvet. The hinges and inkwell caps are decorated and engraved with the same motif. The desk also comes with two original inkwells and a pen holder. 19th century. Victorian era. Excellent condition.
