Object: 2 restored 1940s armchairs
Origin: Italy
Dimensions: cm 60-90-87 h
Era: circa 1940
Restored: yes
Notes: Rare pair of 1940s armchairs branded "La riposante" produced by the company Meroni e Fossati of Lissone, published in the book "il mobile decò italiano". The armchairs are made of solid mahogany, black lacquered and polished with shellac, they have just been restored, the padding is new and just redone and the main cushion can be removed as you can see from the photos. Perfectly usable, they remain a delicate object with a beautiful, modern but light line.
