Antique example of an oriental rug woven by Afshar nomads in Central Asia (Iran).
The colors of the wool are vegetable-based, except for the black in the border, which is obtained with iron oxide which, over time, has corroded the wool on the surface. Collectors know this very well. It is one of the most interesting pieces (in my opinion) in my collection and until now I have not wanted to show it to anyone.
